Maisy Parker, the main character, doesn’t want much, just good friends, some fun, and one hundred thousand followers on Instagram (which is actually a lot). She is set on this path when she accidentally opens a thousand-year-old prison holding a giant man named Cronus, the main character, with one drunken dare and cut hand. Cronus is actually a titan set on destroying the Greek Pantheon. Being in a prison for one thousand years, Cronus doesn’t know anything about the modern world and his only link is the “mortal” Maisy. So he drags her with himself for the ride when Maisy makes another mistake and releases an untold evil in the world. Will they be able to stop that evil from destroying the world? Or will she make another mistake and well end the world?
Why do we recommend this book?
This book was very interesting, to say the least. I didn’t see many twists and turns coming which were so fun to discover. And the writing style, it was just amazing.
