Book review of November 9

Starting the book review of November 9, let’s first talk about romance. Romance has always been a delicate yet intricately fragrant piece of reading for me. I’ve always enjoyed romance as a genre. This book was so full of emotion and heartbreaks.

Fallon and Ben have their own share of flaws. This book begins when Fallon and Ben meet for the first time at a restaurant in Los Angeles on November 9.

There were sparks between them, but Fallon was not ready for a relationship because she was leaving for New York to pursue her career; thus, she told Ben that Fallon would start dating him only when she reached 23.

So they decided to meet each other once a year on the same day, the 9th of November, at the same restaurant where they first met.

“You left with my soul in your fists and my heart in your teeth, and I don’t want either of them back.”

Ben is an aspiring writer, and Fallon becomes his unexpected muse. When Fallon asked him to write a book, he agreed to write their story. For Fallon, November 9 is not just a regular date but a date associated with horrible memories. 30% of her body got burned in a fire on November 9. But now, after meeting Ben, she has something to look forward to.

She’s not the kind of girl you choose your battles for. She’s the kind of girl you fight to the death for.

There were so many good quotes in this book that I cannot write them here. The whole plot left me gasping for air. The plot twist was like no other book, and I was astonished for a minute. I was like, wait a minute- What is happening here?

But overall, the book was good, and the characters were lovable. Sometimes Ben seemed like a pervert, but I overlooked it because of his charisma. Also, Fallon was a strong girl, and whatever she did in this book was valid.

Conclusion

Rating: 5 / 5

Recommendation: Undoubtedly. 100%

For me, Colleen Hoover is one of the best romance writers. This book left me wanting more of both characters. I laughed, cried, broke my heart, and fell in love. I am sure you will also love this book as much as I did.
