Supernatural Academy: Year Two Review

Okay, so you know how sometimes you get hooked on a book series, and you have to dive into the next one? That was me with Supernatural Academy: Year Two. After reading the first book, there was no way I wasn’t continuing with this series, and let me tell you—I was not disappointed! It was everything I hoped for and more. If you want to check out my thoughts on the first book (Supernatural Academy: Year One Review), you can read that review too.

The Supernatural Academy series is a trilogy, i.e., there are a total of three books in this series. Supernatural Academy: Year One is the first part, Supernatural Academy: Year Two is the second part, and Supernatural Academy: Year Three is the third part of the series.

First off, can we talk about the cover? I mean, I love it. It’s not just pretty; it totally fits the vibe of the book. Same goes for the title—spot on.

Now, if you ask me what I loved most, it’s gotta be the characters. The way they’re written is just chef’s kiss. You feel like you actually know them, like you’re part of their world. Their emotions are so real, it’s like they’re your friends. You laugh with them, feel their struggles, and honestly, you just want to hang out with them.

Also, major points to the author, Jaymin Eve, for picking up the story right where we left off in Book One. No weird gaps or confusing flashbacks. Just straight into the action.

The plot? Oh, it’s juicy. You’ll find yourself constantly guessing what’s coming next. Sometimes you nail it, and sometimes you’re way off. But that’s the fun part, right? When the author hits you with a twist you didn’t see coming—it’s like whoa!

And the world-building? Chef’s kiss again. I’d move there in a heartbeat if I could. Jaymin Eve makes the supernatural world feel so alive, I was half convinced I could step into it.

The pace is also perfect. You’re not going to get bored or wonder if you should’ve picked up a different book. This one keeps you engaged from start to finish.

Oh, and the ending? Just right. It leaves you hanging enough to be excited for the next book, but not in an annoying, “I need answers NOW” kind of way. It’s that sweet spot where you can’t wait to see what happens next, but you’re also satisfied with how this one wraps up.

In short, Supernatural Academy: Year Two is such a fun, exciting read. It’s unique, entertaining, and just really well done.

P.S.: This book is available on Kindle Unlimited. If you subscribe to it, you can read this book for free.
