In this article, we will discuss Amazon Kindle e-reader devices and compare them to determine which is the most suitable for you.
Let’s get started…
Questions Answered:
1. Let’s start with a fundamental question, What is Kindle Device?
Kindle is an E-Reader device produced by Amazon company, first released in 2007. It uses the E Ink technology, which gives the experience of reading an actual book page. In short, it doesn’t feel like an LED screen.
However, compatible with sunlight or nighttime, this device gives space to keep thousands of books (depending upon model and storage space) in one go.
Moreover, it uses Flash Memory for storage. Therefore, it is a perfect device to store books, articles, magazines, comics, etc., through its Bluetooth and wireless feature.
Lastly, how can I forget about Audible? one can listen to a favorite book using this E-Reader.
2. When I open the Amazon website, I see a variety of Kindle devices; which one should I go for?
Before diving into the kindle world, let me break down the models into three(currently trending, we are already in the eleventh Generation) and take you on tour to have an overview of that specific model.
So basically, Kindle comes in three models: Kindle, The Kindle Paperwhite, and The Kindle Oasis. Lastly, let’s start one by one :

Personal Opinion:
I have a basic model, Kindle 10th Generation. I bought this one because I was skeptical if I even needed a kindle e-reader.
But guess what? In just a few months, my opinion has completely shifted.
First, I couldn’t imagine myself reading ebooks; I needed just paperbacks; you bookworms can understand my dilemma.
But after getting a kindle, I have comfortably shifted to ebooks. I no longer need to worry about pages getting torn up, books getting folded, or my pencil for highlighting. Haha!
Reading just became so easy and so comfortable. Like I can carry soo many books without them physically occupying space.
I hope you understand how satisfied I am with my decision to buy an e-reader.
But I have one issue; first of all, it is black-and-white, so even page covers are black-and-white. I don’t like that. And secondly, it is not waterproof.
So, I guess I will be buying a Kindle paperwhite version soon because of this.
And obviously, if you are an extensive reader, reading more than 7-8 books in a month, then I suggest you invest in Kindle Oasis. It would be a wise investment for you. I don’t think you will regret it.
